Android Transparant color works differently on different devices -

i'm have fragment bg should semi transparent. so, i'm using <color name="transparent75">#bf000000</color> 75% black transparency.

it looks on samsung s4, transparent on sony device. i'm googling while , couldn't proper solution.

any solutions appreciated.

i don't think every screen made equal. have tried comparing white background on nexus 5 , samsung s4, result different.

the screen technology different between nexus 5 , 6. 5 uses ips screen backlit , considered superior @ reproducing whites, , colors tend more life-like. nexus 6 has amoled screen - not lit, each pixel lighting individually. amoled screens great @ reproducing blacks, , more saturated when comes colors. - jakshadows26
