Access local web files via Microsoft Edge extension -

recently migrated chrome extension microsoft edge. face 1 problem. extension should interact webpages, works fine online webpages not local files.

chrome offers situation permission called <all_urls>. tried use <any url> permission found on microsoft support page, without result. interact webpage, not specific one.

does edge support functionality - , if does, how can achieve it? if not, planned in near future?

in chrome, local file access can achieved checking allow access file urls in chrome://extensions, this feature not supported in microsoft edge @ now.
